Team—

I know you all just wrapped up your town hall - I hope you’re as excited as I am with the good news. Last time I sent you all a note, I expressed the following: “I believe in this team. You all are some of the most motivated and creative developers we have had the opportunity to collaborate with - and we’re looking forward for that relationship to continue.”

Through your commitment and versatility, particularly over the last year, you repeatedly show that.

The community feedback from last fall’s Project ETHOS testing phase was revealing. It affirmed the promise of a action-packed game but told us we still had improvements to make. It uncovered the need for a sharper vision.

It’s been inspiring to see how far you’ve come. You accepted the input to consideration and revamped the title with a refreshed vision - one that’s positioned to fulfill its potential to our audience.

The trust in Project ETHOS grows every day. To advance the outstanding advancement you’ve made, It is a pleasure to announce Ben Brinkman as the new Studio Head of 31st Union. Following a period of talks, he comes aboard us on Monday, October 20.

His management and background in the competitive gaming space is extensive, having dedicated the past decade and a half creating and overseeing some of the most popular franchises in gaming, such as the acclaimed shooter, and more recently, Apex Legends.

I invite you all in welcoming Ben in the coming days. We are all eager to persist witnessing the progress of the game in the weeks to follow.

The President

Background of the New Leader

Title Information and Concept

Project Ethos was revealed in last year together with a public demo. At the time, the developers presented the game as a "free-to-play, third-person perspective roguelike hero shooter and an innovative evolution on the style."

"Build your perfect run—or die trying—in this 3rd-person action shooter! Build your hero in real-time to match your preferred approach," the description explains. "Take on the opponents with unique powers, challenges, and challenges that change every round. Do you withdraw carefully with your valuable rewards? Alternatively aim high, put it on the line, and hope your team can earn top ranking? The choice is yours."

The game has not yet received an announced debut schedule or consoles, but enthusiasts can look forward to more updates as production progresses.
